Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of slop.haus (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Eligibility and Accounts

• You must be legally able to enter into this agreement.
• You are responsible for your account and for activity under your account.
• You must provide accurate account information and keep it updated.
• You may sign in using supported third-party providers (for example Google or GitHub). Your use of those providers is also subject to their terms and policies.

User Content

"User Content" means content you submit to the Service, including projects, links, screenshots, comments, ratings, and reports.

You keep ownership of your User Content. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, modify for formatting/moderation, publish, and display your User Content as needed to operate and improve the Service.

You represent that you have all rights needed to submit your User Content and that it does not violate law or third-party rights.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Submit illegal, infringing, fraudulent, or deceptive content.
• Submit malware, harmful links, or abusive/spam content.
• Attempt unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data.
• Interfere with service security, reliability, or availability.
• Use automation or "agents" to manipulate rankings, spam, or evade safeguards.

You are responsible for actions taken through your account, including actions by scripts, tools, or other agents you use.

Moderation and Enforcement

We may moderate, hide, remove, restrict, or review content/accounts to enforce these Terms, comply with law, or protect users and the Service.

Moderation may be performed using a mix of automated systems and human review.

Third-Party Services and Links

The Service may include links to third-party websites/services. We are not responsible for third-party content, security, availability, or policies.

Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.

Service Availability and Changes

We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time, with or without notice.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, slop.haus and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, data, goodwill, or business opportunities, arising from or related to your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) USD $100 or (b) the amount you paid us (if any) in the 12 months before the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless slop.haus and its operators from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your User Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time.

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service at any time if we believe you violated these Terms, created risk, or where required by law.

Sections that by nature should survive termination will survive (including licenses, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and dispute provisions).

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and update the "Last Updated" date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
